| Felix 1998-2010 18/10/10 know it was 10 days ago, but it's not a easy topic to post. Our old black and white rescue moggie Felix had to be laid to rest on 7/10/10. we always thought he was indestructible after battling with diabetes's for 7 out of his 12 years on this earth. He developed diabetes's just after his sole mate Elsa got run over being chased by him. The stress of losing her made him diabetic. Susie and could not believe that we had our 3rd diabetic cat to look after.over the 7 years we have nursed & loved him through many hypo's, each time thinking we were going to lose him, but oh no he proved us wrong every time. He was such a survivor. But there's only so much a body can take and on the 7th October when he could not keep any food down and he fould it hard to walk, we made the kindest and most difficult decision pet owners have to make and let him go to his beloved Elsa. We miss you old boy shouting for food, but where you are now you no longer need insulin. Take care until we all meet again in an other life, we love you always. xx |
